Naoki Mitsuse graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California in 1995 and has been living in Los Angeles since.

Work has been featured in Architectural Digest (Italy), Wired and Print magazines. Solo paintings shows at Diesel Denim Gallery, NY and Old Dominion University Gallery, VA. Freelance clients include Us3, Diesel, Bandai, Playboy Jazz Festival and Los Angeles magazine. Film/Animation festivals include Rotterdam, Stuttgart, Silverlake, Adelaide, Brisbane, Cartoombria, Bitfilm film, and Anima Mundi film festivals.

Naoki has taught flash animation at the University of Oregon and aikido at the California State University, Los Angeles.
